2015 started off well with some interesting new listings, but lost steam by month-end with the snowy weather.

32 properties came on the market which offered buyers some fresh choices while total inventory remained low at 95 properties for sale at month end, versus 121 last year.

New listings in the “heart” of the market, $500k-800k located near transportation, saw multiple offers.

27 homes closed in January at a median price of $628,500 (the median price of active listings is $540k) and averaged 100% of ask, which is actually down from the 2014 average of 102%.
