Good weather helped push back the Fall selling season of Montclair houses, as evidenced by 30 units new to market in November, versus 20 last year.

The jump in inventory in the early part of the month brought out buyers, with 32 houses going under contract in November.

Multiple offers on homes continued to be common and competitive bid situations from earlier in the Fall pushed the sale price vs. list price percentage to 107% on the 24 closings in November.

Continued good weather could have buyers out looking for homes right up until 2016, as long as there are new listings to capture their interest.
