New Record High Prices on Many Streets

A strong 2017 Spring market in Montclair led to new record high real estate sales prices* on 25 streets in town, with several others approaching top prices.

Further evidence of a Sellers’ market included average sales prices exceeding asking prices by 8% in July vs 4% last year, and only 137 active listings in July vs. 160 last year.

We expect a lull in the market in August and renewed activity mid September.
