The market has kept moving forward consistently this season.

Inventory crept up slightly in October to 148 properties at month end from 142 at the end of September, but well below 176 properties at the same time last year.

Buyers were out in October with steady, but not frenetic, buying activity. 48 homes went under contract in October versus 41 last year and 29 in September.

Closings in October reflected steady demand as sale prices averaged 101% of asking.
