August was a busy month for closings while buyers and sellers took a break from the market.  

65 houses closed in August averaging 103% of asking price.  Only 19 homes came to market as many would-be sellers held off, sprucing up their properties in anticipation of increased buyer traffic in September.

Even with inventory at the end of August at a very low 104 units, now that schools are back in session and people are back from vacation, we are already seeing inventory building up again, and I anticipate 60-70 new property listings in September. 

Important! – If you are planning to sell in the Spring, among your other priorities, be sure to take your outdoor pictures now and address any oil tank removal issues.
